The first kanji is 大 which is commonly read as dai だい tai たい or ō おお.
It means big, large, etc. Some example words it is a part of include 大学・だいがく・college/university, 大雨・おおあめ・heavy rain/downpour, and 大変・たいへん・greatly/terribly, serious/dreadful/challenging.

The second kanji is 犬 which is read as いぬ・inu when seen by itself and typically means dog or canine. Note the extra stroke in the upper right, as you may confuse it with the similar kanji 太 which means fat and has an extra stroke in the lower middle.
