They are taken from free dictionary databases. You can submit words to the database here. http://www.edrdg.org/jmdictdb/cgi-bin/edform.py?svc=jmdict&c=1&sid= However, I opened up my Koujien dictionary (really big, fairly "authoritative" Japanese dictionary) and didn't see this word. So I'm not sure it needs to be in here, unless you have something else to back it up.
