Good question. "Nautical" is actually not really a tag in the database, but a handwritten note in this entry. I think there's currenctly no way on Jisho.org to search through the notes. You could of course just filter the JMdict database manually and see if there are any entries that come up.
How can I filter the JMdict database? I found a search option on the database site but I can't search for notes there.
Download the JMdict database file and filter it with a tool of your choice, or write one yourself.
However, I have written an e-mail to Jim Breen, and note searching has been implemented in the test platform of their website: http://edrdg.org/~smg/cgi-bin/srchform.py?svc=jmtest So you could use that to search for all entries containing a note that contains the word "nautical". And if you do that, the only entry that comes up is ようそろ.
So, guess that's not really helpful after all for your use case, then.
Too bad there is no more words with nautical note. There must be more nautical words. Other two I know is 右舷 and 左舷 but these don't have the note. Nonetheless thanks for the help.
Yes definitely I think there are more nautical terms, just not tagged. Especially the note feature is probably under-utilized. But, eh, now thanks to this thread there is at least a way to search that field easily.
Search for nautical terms
Is there any way to search for nautical terms? If you look at ようそろう for example there is 'nautical' in the description but I didn't find word search tag for it.
