ガーディアン (掃海艦)
1. USS Guardian (MCM-5)USS Guardian (MCM-5), an Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship, is the second U.S. Navy ship of that name. Guardian was laid down on 8 May 1985 by the Peterson Builders Inc. , Sturgeon Bay, Wisc. ; launched on 20 June 1987; and commissioned on 16 December 1989. As of 15 October 2010, Guardian is commanded by Lieutenant Commander Kenneth R. Brown, and is part of Mine Countermeasures Squadron 7. She is assigned to the 7th Fleet, and forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan.
