1. Vilagarcía de ArousaVilagarcía de Arousa is a port town situated on the ria of Arousa in Galicia, 45 km south of Santiago de Compostela. It is located in the district of Salnés and belongs to the province of Pontevedra. Vilagarcía has a population of almost 37,000 inhabitants, so it is the eighth largest town in Galicia. It is bordered to the north by Catoira, to the east by Caldas de Reyes, Villanueva de Arosa to the west and the Arosa estuary to the south.
