1. Overall equipment effectivenessOverall equipment effectiveness (OEE) is a hierarchy of metrics developed by Seiichi Nakajima in 1960's (based on Harrington Emerson way of thinking regarding to labor efficiency) which evaluates and indicates how effectively a manufacturing operation is utilized. The results are stated in a generic form which allows comparison between manufacturing units in differing industries.
