1. Yoshinogawa, TokushimaYoshinogawa, Tokushima is a city located in Tokushima, Japan. As of June 1, 2011, the city has an estimated population of 44,726 with 17,573 households and a population density of 307.07 persons per km². The total area is 144.19 km². The city was founded on October 1, 2004 from the merger of the four municipalities from the former Oe District (dissolved by this action): Kamojima, Kawashima and Yamakawa, and the village of Misato. The eponymous Yoshino River forms the northern border of the city.
