Moral Re-ArmamentMoral Re-Armament (MRA) was an international moral and spiritual movement that, in 1938, developed from the American minister Frank Buchman's purely Christian Oxford Group and dedicated itself to peace and reconciliation. Buchman, a Lutheran, headed MRA for 23 years, from 1938 until his death in 1961. Since 2001, the organization has been succeeded and developed differently as Initiatives of Change. MRA has been subject to several controversies over a variety of issues.
