Sorry about that. It's a known display issue that I am fixing in the next version of the site. In the source data some words are tagged twice, once for their kana version, and once for their kanji version. Jisho stores both levels in the search data, but shows only one of them, leading to this confusion.

Tag issues
Hey Kimtaro, I don't know if you're aware but the tags for N5, N4, N3, N2, N1 aren't working properly, filtering jisho by those tags doesn't show all the words in the correct place, some N4 words are appearing in N3, same with N5 appearing in n3, Same thing with N2 and N1 which also seem to be incredibly lacking in hits; n2 = 1802 hits, n1 = 3440 hits and a lot of these are made up words from previous tags. Ie, the first word on the N1 filter is 眼鏡 which is n5.
Would love for this to get fixed, ty.
