is ぞめ not a suffix?

The entry for 初め states it is a suffix: 1. first doing of ... (ever, in one's life, in the new year, etc.)​ (after the -masu stem of a verb). Isn't the reading for 始め here supposed to be はじめ?

The ruby on those sentences is auto-generated and prone to give wrong results like in this case.
