This is a discussion about 差す

Wrong example sentences placement

It seems that the example sentence of the first meaning (to shine) that says "He went on walking in the rain without an umbrella." is actually an example sentence of the 6. meaning (to hold up (an umbrella, etc.); to put up; to raise).

Also, the example sentence of the 2. meaning (Expressions and smiles change like that just from applying rouge and lipstick.) should probably be instead an example of the 3. meaning (to be tinged with).

Thanks for pointing this out. I have fixed it in the source database. It'll take about a week to show up correctly on Jisho.
