This is a discussion about なう

なう

Hello, jisho community! I just want to know if using なう is like using です(jisho itself says that it to do) but with the advantage of being able to create verbial propositions as in 俺は海賊王になる男だ。
In that case if I say 俺はスポーツなう男だis there a meaning? If so what is it please?

Isn't this like... a twitter slang suffix? It's not something you can put in place of する in any case. You already can do スポーツをする男, so there's no need to find a different verb to do it.
