It's a buddhist number.
They sometimes use weird things to show immeasurably big amounts of merit a bodhisattva can make and things like that.
I don't think it has any practical use in mathematics or physics.

Is this a joke?
Hi everyone! I was just wondering, is this a true mathematical term, or just a joke that someone made up. I kind of want to know because I'm teaching Maths in Japan right now and I was planning on telling the students about this. Any feedback would be appreciated; thanks!
