But Google Translate works great, plus you can use it offline!

There's a very good app called Jsho (not a typo) that's nearly identical.

Resources? You have a database and all your programmer has to do is to convert them into Android API with the same design you have here, would take nothing but time which is illusion! Cheers!

There is an app for iphone called "Japanese; by renzo.

Its pretty much the same thing as this, but packed into a 200mb app for offline, and has a flashcard system.

Can serve as a shittier google translate in need when you dont have internet.
