Hi, If one searches "base #math", then the word "sexagesimal" (http://jisho.org/word/%E5%85%AD%E5%8D%81%E9%80%B2%E6%B3%95) and the word "octal" (http://jisho.org/word/%EF%BC%98%E9%80%B2%E6%95%B0) pop up . Unfortunately, the word "base" (as in "base 10", "base 3", etc.) does not appear to have an entry under 進法, however there is an entry under 進数 that correctly states "(number) base (e.g. 10)", but this is not tagged as a #math. Similarly, 二進法 is not tagged as #math, nor does the entry contain the word "base". I suggest tagging 進数 under #math and also adding the word 進法 by itself with the tag #math as well. If this is not the right place to make these comments, please let me know and I'll forward them to the appropriate address. Cheers. jamesh625 at 2017-09-04 03:54:39 UTC Searching 進法 and 進数 reveal a few other words that would benefit from being tagged with #math, in my opinion. jamesh625 at 2017-09-04 03:55:17 UTC Sorry, there should be asterisks surrounding both of those words (not italics). jakobd2 at 2017-09-04 07:26:54 UTC You can edit the entries in JMdict and also add tags there how you see fit.
