Sorry about that, it is quite confusing. The search works fine and all the results returned are JLPT N1 words, it's just that I'm not displaying the JLPT N1 label.
Some words have multiple JLPT levels, the lower one for the word when it's just in kana, and a higher level for the word when it's in kanji.
I'll see if I can come up with a better way of showing this than just displaying the lowest level.
Ah, I see. I had a feeling it might be something like that, because I knew the kanji for 眼鏡 were N1 kanji. But still, it would be nice to search just for words that are only ones learned in preparation for N1, as opposed to easier words that also have difficult kanji versions.
Thanks for considering it.
Searching by #jlpt-n1 isn't particularly useful
I was hoping to use the tags #words and #jlpt-n1 to find... well, words that are tagged as being JLPT N1 words.

Unfortunately, as you can see, on the first page of results there are precisely zero N1 words, and plenty of words that are N5.
Is this tag just broken, or is it basically showing results for "everything up to the specified level" on purpose?
