Like I said in the other thread, this is very cool! I hope to add more functionality to the API in the coming months to support things like kanji search.

@surajkumarsau The API has attribution information built in. Look at the "attribution" object for each word. The key is the database the word is associated with. If the value is true or a string the word is associated with that database. You can get the database information from http://jisho.org/about
You will have to check the license for each database and make sure you show the appropriate license information.
For Jisho you can see this at the bottom of the page.

Hi, I've developed an Android App independently for the love of Jisho. It currently does the basic search, verb inflection and also stores favorites and search history. If the developers of Jisho could come in touch, there are a few features that require data in the API it would be awesome.
