That looks a little better than the all white... but the black is also a little overbearing with the bright white letters. Is there a way for a little bit more muted gray maybe?

Like the bar for this post is a dark gray, and the letters are bright enough to distinguish but not so much so since the letters look more gray. Does that make sense?

Or make all the white lettering gray like in this picture. "English, Japanese, Romaji, words or text" line is really easy to read, but 'Draw', 'Radicals', and 'Voice' are a little harder.
