This is a discussion about 引く

about the 13th interpretation

  1. to quote; to raise (as evidence) できるだけ えいご 英語から れい 例をひこう。Insofar as possible, our examples will be drawn from English. What does ひこう mean?Is it a conjugation of 引く?Or it is just a mistake? If mistake, than what's the correct sentence?

ひこう is correct, and as you guessed it's a conjugation of 引く. It's the volitional form, which roughly corresponds to "Let's ____" in English. The translation doesn't really capture this, but a different translation (depending on context) could be "Let's try to only draw examples from English when possible."
