Too long, didn't read version: What is "Be the light" in japanese?
Google translate says something like
"Hikari de" / "光で" or "Hikari ni nareru" / "光になれる"
but I rather ask a native speaker than a weird algorithm ;)

The song "Be the Light" from the japanese rockband ONE OK ROCK is in full english and I haven't found a japanese version of it yet.
The song is about hope and not giving up and being all positive in life. The paragraph from which the line "Be the Light" is taken from is

Yesterday’s night turns to light
Tomorrow’s night returns to light
Be the light

Another paragraph that shows the meaning of the song which can be used as a motivational text on postcards

Some days just pass by and
Some days are unforgettable
We can’t choose the reason why
But we can choose what to do from the day after
So with that hope, with that determination
Let’s make tomorrow a brighter and better day

So I would say "Light" is not meant in a strictly physical, scienific way here (like a ray of light from the sun and the particle-molecule components etc.) but more like the positive feeling of hope and warm energy when something nice is happening to you, in a spiritual meaning. I hope you get what I mean :)
What would the japanese title of the song be without losing/changing its meaning?
Can "Hikari" be used for this emotion context or is it rather in a scientific meaning? I also found a wikipedia article about the verb "Hikaru" / "to shine" but it did not help me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hikaru

I might consider to get this short motto as a tattoo for a personal reason, so I don't want to run around with a wrong translation for the rest of my life ;)
