Inflection data is part of the dictionary program, not JMDict itself. Different dictionaries have very different needs for how inflections are handled; some have to disinflect exclusively, others only have to produce inflection tables.

I had to snicker at "infections." Sometimes these things happen to me too and these types of typos stick to memory, so just to make sure, OP, it's infLections, not infections. 😄👍🏻

The Infections are not provided on the verb ある. Here they are:
Past tense: あった
Negative:ない
Negative Past tense: なかった
Te-form: あって
Masu form: あります
