I know it's not as nice as the audio on this site, but you can hear how a word is pronounced using Google Translate or Sound of Text: http://soundoftext.com/
Go to where it says "Play audio" and right click. I'll be using the word 英語 (えいご) in this example. After right clicking, select "Inspect"/"Inspect element". After selecting that, a side panel screen should pop up with a bunch of HTML code. You'll automatically be taken to one highlighted in blue. Above that one, there will be a block of code that says ". Click the down arrow on that, and several links will drop down (with a cloudfront.net in the URL). It should say <source src="http://d1vjc5dkcd3yh2.cloudfront.net/audio/8d5bcf2b454c254671aaa5a8bd9c2272.mp3". Now click on that, and a new tab will open with the audio recording! All you have to do now is click the little download button. Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/R3ltpJG.png. Happy downloading!
*the block of code will say <a class="class="concept_audio concept_light-status_link..." just to clarify
weab00--thank you very much!
Any way to download audio?
Sorry if this has been asked, I couldn't find any search function for the forum. I was just wondering if its possible to download the audio for japanese words. When I right click there is no "save as" option.
